WHAT WE BELIEVE

The Mission for a Chosen Generation

Every ministry is eventually known by what it will not compromise. This page states ours in plain language, on purpose, so that no one has to guess where this house stands.

This is a ministry, not a marketing department. We will not sand down our convictions to keep company with the culture, and we will not use soft language to hide what we actually hold. Paul told Timothy to preach the word, in season and out of season (2 Timothy 4:2).

THE SCRIPTURES

We believe the Bible is the Word of God: inspired, trustworthy, and sufficient for faith and life (2 Timothy 3:16-17; Psalm 119:105). It is not one voice among many. It stands above our opinions, our traditions, and our feelings. Where it speaks, we submit.

GOD

We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (Matthew 28:19; 2 Corinthians 13:14).

JESUS CHRIST

We believe Jesus is fully God and fully man (John 1:1, 14), born of a virgin, sinless, crucified for our sins, and bodily raised on the third day (1 Corinthians 15:3-4). He is returning in glory. We believe He is the only way to the Father: “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me” (John 14:6). “There is salvation in no one else” (Acts 4:12); there is one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus (1 Timothy 2:5). Sincerity in another faith is real, but sincerity is not salvation. Only Christ saves. We say that with love for people of every religion and none, and with contempt for no one.

SALVATION

We believe salvation is by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone (Ephesians 2:8-9). It comes through repentance toward God and faith in the Lord Jesus (Romans 10:9-10). It is not earned, not inherited, and not negotiated. It is received, and it changes a life.

WHERE WE STAND

The culture is not confused about what we believe. It is waiting to see whether we will say it. So we will say it.

On the unborn. Every human life belongs to God, from conception to natural death (Psalm 139:13-16; Jeremiah 1:5). Abortion takes a life made in the image of God, and we oppose it: in law, in culture, in our communities, and in our own counsel to women and families. We oppose it, and we will offer a better way than death.

On marriage and sexuality. Marriage is the covenant union of one man and one woman, as God defined it from the beginning (Genesis 2:24; Matthew 19:4-6). Sexual intimacy belongs inside that covenant alone. All sexual immorality, heterosexual or homosexual, is sin (1 Corinthians 6:9-11; 1 Thessalonians 4:3-7). We say this as people who were ourselves “such were some of you,” saved by the same grace we preach (1 Corinthians 6:11). We do not hate the people we disagree with. We disagree with them, and we will keep loving them, because Christ loved us while we were still His enemies.

On gender. God made them male and female (Genesis 1:27), and we receive that as given, not as a construct to be dismantled. We reject the claim that a person’s gender is self-defined, and we oppose teaching children that their body is a lie.

On religious pluralism. The world does not serve the same God under different names. We reject the claim that all religions lead to God, and we reject the pressure to pretend otherwise in public life.

On parents and the state. Parents hold primary authority over their children’s formation (Deuteronomy 6:6-7; Ephesians 6:4), and the state does not replace them. We oppose any policy, curriculum, or program that puts the state between a parent and a child’s conscience.

On freedom to preach. We claim the freedom to preach Christ publicly, and we will not be silent when that freedom is pressed (Acts 5:29; Galatians 5:1). We defend that freedom for everyone, including the people who would use it against us.

On the poor and the vulnerable. We stand for the fatherless, the widow, the stranger, and the forgotten (Isaiah 1:17; Proverbs 31:8-9; James 1:27). Advocacy is not an afterthought for us. It is part of the mission.

On human dignity and race. Every person bears the image of God (Genesis 1:27), and racism is sin. We reject the old bigotry that ranked people by skin, and we reject the new ideology that divides people by skin and calls it justice.

On the real enemy. Our battle is not against flesh and blood (Ephesians 6:12). The devil is the enemy. People are not.

WHAT THIS MEANS

We are not a political party. We exist to make Christ known, not to get anyone elected. When a law or a policy touches what God calls good or evil, we will say so plainly, and we will not pretend we have no opinion.

We are not a tax-exempt organization. Gifts to this ministry are not tax-deductible, and we would rather say that plainly than let a tax status decide what we are permitted to preach.

We do not bind consciences where Scripture is silent. Where God has not spoken, we will not invent a rule and call it His.

We do not expect the world to act like the church. We expect the church to be the church.

We would rather be faithful than popular (Romans 1:16).

If you have read this and you are angry, come and reason with us. If you have read this and you are tired of a faith that apologizes for itself, you are home. And if you have read this and you want Christ, He is here.
