THE SOLDIER’S CREED

“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” Joshua 1:9

I will not shrink back.

I will defend, protect, and actively strive to preserve the core truths of Christian doctrine against corruption and outside distortion.

I will speak the name of Jesus boldly, in my home, in my workplace, in the streets, and wherever He sends me.

I will stand with my brothers and sisters who face ridicule, rejection, or persecution for the gospel.

I will not trade truth for comfort, or courage for approval.

I am a soldier of Christ Jesus. I aim to please the One who enlisted me. (2 Timothy 2:3-4)

I will obey my Commander, for to obey is better than sacrifice. (1 Samuel 15:22)

I will put on the whole armor of God and stand firm against the schemes of the enemy. (Ephesians 6:11)

I will remember my battle is not against flesh and blood, but against spiritual forces of darkness. (Ephesians 6:12)

I will be strong. I will be courageous. I will not be afraid, for the Lord my God is with me wherever I go.

I am part of a chosen generation.
